*New:  Student Membership Category*

The Board of Trustees of the Hudson Society of Artists is pleased to announce that it has established a new Student Membership category for all high school and college students. This expands the society’s outreach to young artists, complementing its long-standing college scholarship award program.

Meetings are held at the Barlow Community Center

41 S. Oviatt St., Hudson, OH 44236, 7:00-9:00 pm

Come and meet other artists. Meetings are free. Each meeting features guest artists demonstrating

their artistic skills. Snacks are usually provided. As a member, you can sell your work at several

HSA art shows with no application fee unless they are juried. Fees only cover only the jury cost.

A Community-Supporting Organization

HSA sponsors an annual high school art scholarship, contributes to local community organizations, and subsidizes other art entities. Our mission is to promote public awareness of art and to encourage artists in their pursuits.  Members come from many different communities surrounding Hudson. Hudson’s monumental Art On the Green (AOG) Show & Sale is an HSA event at The Green at Joann's in Hudson. Art on the Green is an annual end-of-summer tradition in the City of Hudson, held for the past four decades on the weekend before Labor Day. Our members appreciate our community sponsors, the cooperation of public officials, and all the volunteers who help make AOG an annual success.  AOG attracts exhibitors and art lovers throughout Ohio and beyond, benefiting our local merchants and restaurants.
