Art on the Green News

The 44th Art on the Green took place on August 29th-30th on the four greens in downtown Hudson.  This year's event showcased the works of over 160 artists. We've received overwhelmingly positive responses to this year's event from both exhibitors and attendees. Many exhibitors told us that this was one of their most successful shows of the year!  Attendees loved the fact that we're back on the downtown greens, including several positive comments regarding the diversity and quality of the Art.  We also received positive feedback regarding our overall planning and handling of the event from the City of Hudson Events department and City Safety (Fire/EMS). This was the inaugural year of the HSA Member raffle tent, and we thank Marcia Mandala for taking on the job of coordinating the raffle tent logistics! The proceeds from the raffle tent will go into the Margaret Roby/Lowell Smith Scholarship fund.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE VOLUNTEERS WHO GAVE UP PART OR ALL OF THEIR WEEKEND TO HELP US MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS! THIS EVENT CAN'T HAPPEN WITHOUT VOLUNTEER SUPPORT.  

Planning for the 45th Annual Art on the Green has already begun, and even though we're celebrating the success of this year's event, we know that there is room for improvement as we gear up for 2027. Art on the Green 2027 dates are August 28th-29th, with exhibitor load-in on Friday, 8/27.  Reserve these dates on your calendars because we need all volunteer hands on deck for that weekend.

Last, but not least, we thank our participating exhibitors, volunteers, the City of Hudson, and the thousands of attendees who helped to make the 44th Art on the Green a success!
